Software Copyright and IP Transfer
We retain the following rights and do not transfer them to clients:
- (1) Copyrights, patent rights, know how, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights owned prior to the contract start date
- (2) General algorithms, data structures, programming techniques, design patterns, and other reusable technical components
- (3) Public domain technologies, industry standard technologies, and implementation methods required by technical necessity
For items not covered above, we grant clients a nonexclusive license to use our proprietary software as needed for the agreed business purposes.
Tax Information
- Qualified invoice issuer under Japan’s Qualified Invoice System (VAT number: T5011001149663)
- Certificate of Residence in Japan and other tax documents available upon request
